I discovered this comic the other day whilst shamelessly stalking Anne *coughs*. All in a good cause, I assure you, since she hasn’t been online for whole four days (shock and horror) I wanted to make sure she hasn’t been eaten by bears (she hasn’t, has she? Only I presumed that it would be fairly well documented if she had and that you would have made a note of the fact that you now have to get a new and uneaten illustrator…)
Anywho, about the comic. I LOVE it. I never usually read comics but this one has me intrigued. I love the occasionally ‘Biblical’ lyricism of the text- far more profound than I would expect to find in a comic (but then, I am a cynic). I’m loving storm motif (got to love pathetic fallacy, especially when it’s recognised to be as such by the characters!) I also love the premise so far; it reminds me of something I can’t quite place… The pictures are magical, of course *pats Anne on back*.
Sorry for this being a bit of a ramble, I’m tiiiirrrred. Look forward to more of this and also looking forward to seeing your war story at some point!

Oh, hi Kayleigh! Welcome on over, then!
No, Anne has not been eaten by bears, do not fret. She just went on vacation, and probably forgot to put up an away message.
But if her startling absence made you come over here to see if large ursines had eaten my illustrator, all the better! I’m so very pleased you picked up on all my subtleties and are enjoying our work! It will only get better from here.
And I would adore to talk about my war novel (believe me, I cannot talk about anything else these days.) Hope to see you ’round again soon, and by the by, Anne should be back Saturday night around 10pm our time.
I will pass the regards to the cats, I’m sure they will appreciate it.
